Hand-Signed Custom Prints

Nearly all of the photographs displayed on this website are available for purchase as fine art prints. While many photographers use a printing company to have their orders sent directly to their customer, I personally create and inspect each of my prints. To show that each print is a custom work, I hand-sign each one after I am satisfied with its quality.

Archival Inks and Paper

Prints are made with pigment-based archival inks on premium deep luster paper, which has a slight gloss and texture. After much experimentation and research, I chose the specific paper and ink combination to achieve the best color representation, with vibrant colors and deep blacks, as well as superior image stability. These archival prints will last generations before noticeable fading will occur in a typical display setting.

Sizes

I offer the following print sizes: 8.5”x11”, 11”x14”, and 13”x17”. Custom sizes are also available by request.

I chose 13”x17” as my flagship print size to maximize the impact of a matted print in a standard 16”x20” frame. The 13”x17” size has 44% more print area than an 11”x14”, yet it still fits in a 16”x20” frame with a 1.5” mat on all sides. It is the most eye-catching way I have found to display photos without getting into larger sizes that require custom framing. All of my recent prints for gallery display have been made in this size.

Because I am such a believer in the 13”x17” print size, I include a custom cut acid-free mat so the collector can easily mount the print in a 16”x20” frame.

Framing

My standard print size offerings were chosen to be compatible with industry standard frame sizes, so a variety of frame styles is widely available. The 8.5”x11” prints come with a mat to be mounted in 11”x14” frames. The 11”x14” prints can be displayed in an 11”x14” frame, or matted in a 16”x20” frame. As mentioned above, the 13”x17” prints include a mat to be mounted in a 16”x20” frame.

A selection of popular prints is displayed in my online store. Once you place your order, the transaction will be processed through Paypal’s secure payment system. Each print is made to order. In most cases, orders ship within two to three days.
